Tillie Tuesday – Introducing Tillandsia Velutina
Discalimer: The views of authors are not necessarily the views of Greenology Organic living ,LLC. We encourage everyone to always do thier own study and utilize critical thought as our ancestors always have in making important decisions. It is our possition that the lack of critical thought and not requiring diligent testing of new technologies, especially the ones we place in or on our bodies have ushered in the modern chronic illness plagues. Question everything just the way our ancestors did in order to arrive at wise health decisions as opposed to having your decisions handed to you by industry creating the publics opinions.

We just love Tillandsia Velutina! Not only are they one of the easiest air plant to care of, but they also have a beautifully shaped long and slightly curving foliage that looks great in any arrangement, terrarium, or on driftwood. Native to Chiapas and Guatemala, their velvety leaves turns a spectacular rosy red color when it produces a fiery red central bloom. We have seen them grow to about 9 - 10 in wide. A great air plant to have, if you are just starting with air plant gardening.
